Entertainment venues in Tashkent are expected to switch over to 24-hour format. This is stated in the 2020 item of the draft Action Plan for implementation of youth tourism development concept in Uzbekistan for 2020-2025.
Tashkent - A City For Youth program, aimed to make Tashkent a major tourist destination for young tourists (includes switching museums, theaters, cinemas, parks, restaurants and cafes, and other entertainment venues to a 24-hour format, creating new entertainment venues and public events), is to be developed and submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is also expected to hold an international Khanabad-Muynak youth bicycle and moto-marathon from andijan’s Khanabad city to Karakalpakstan’s Muynak city.
Earlier in July, the government issued the Additional measures to ensure public safety at restaurants and entertainment venues at nighttime resolution, which seems to have been dropped.
