The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov will pay an official visit to Tashkent in January, the Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov announced at the MGIMO branch inauguration ceremony in Tashkent.
“Indeed, this visit is scheduled sometime in the mid-January next year. One of the important items of the Russian Minister’s stay program will be a joint visit with myself to the MGIMO branch and the University of World Economy and International Relations. Sergey Lavrov, among other things, promised to give a short lecture on a topic that, of course, will be of interest here,” he added.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the rectors of UWED, MGIMO, Uzbek and Russian diplomats and businessmen, professors and teachers.
