President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed resolution prohibiting the initiation of questioning and cancellation of the results denationalization and privatization in Uzbekistan.
"The resolution establishes that the initiation of questioning of the results denationalization and privatization, including the results of the evaluation of objects, by the state, including regulatory, law enforcement bodies and courts, and is qualified as a violation of the inviolability of private property, such cases are not accepted for consideration," - the document said.
The President instructed the Prosecutor General’s Office to strengthen supervision of strict observance of regulations on the protection of private property and guarantees of property rights, to ensure the inevitability of liability, including prosecuting officials of state bodies for initiating of questioning and cancellation of the results of denationalization and privatization.
In addition, he instructed to strictly warn senior officials of all levels of government bodies, the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, governors’ and mayors’ office of provinces Tashkent city, districts and cities about their unconditional compliance with the Article 53 of the Constitution, as well as the Law on the Protection of Private Property and Guarantees of Ownership Rights.
