The Director of the State Assets Management Agency, Sunatulla Bekenov hosted the International Expert of the United Nations Djeko Savic.
During the meeting, Sunatulla Bekenov briefed on the agency's activities, its main functions and tasks, with plans for the near future discussed.
Bekenov noted, dividends from enterprises and assets (about 70%), proceeds from privatization and rent of state property account for the main part of to the state budget’s revenues.
All non-strategic companies with state’s share will be privatized, he added.
He emphasized that privatization aims not to increase budget revenues, but to improve production efficiency and competitiveness of companies business.
The parties also discussed about the United Nations Development Program and its importance.
The meeting also discussed the total revenues from state-owned companies and assets, those planned to be privatized and to remain to be owned by the state.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to step up cooperation.
