Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan, Nigmatilla Yuldashev hosted a delegation led by the Chief Military Prosecutor of the Russian Federation, Valery Petrov.
The parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues, primarily in the fight against extremism, terrorism and other forms of organized crime and discussed the ways to enhance interagency cooperation, as well as issues of mutual interest.
Valery Petrov sincerely thanked the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan for the hospitality and warm reception and acquainted with the main activities of the General Military Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to develop mutually beneficial interagency cooperation. In particular, it is planned to develop cooperation through the exchange of experience in the field of crime prevention, the use of modern ICTs and systematic training, advanced retraining and professional development of prosecuting staff.
