The second consultative meeting of the heads of Central Asian states is scheduled for November 27 and will be held in Tashkent, the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev said today.

"I previously called on our neighbors to get together for a consultative meeting. Such a meeting took place in Astana [Nur-Sultan]. I would like them to be held in different capitals. I hope this year, the meeting will be held on November 27in Tashkent as scheduled," Kazinform quoted Nazarbayev.

As Nazarbayev noted, there are unresolved issues between Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. “Clashes are happening, people are dying,” he emphasized.

The first consultative meeting of the heads of Central Asian states was held in March 2018 in the capital of Kazakhstan. In July this year, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan reported that the second meeting will be held in Tashkent in the fall.
