A meeting with officials of Huawei and CEIEC (China) was held at the State Tax Committee (STC), during which the parties discussed the introduction of digital technologies in Uzbekistan’s tax system and the development of a Unified Tax Database, the State Tax Committee said.
The introduction of an automated tax system will reportedly facilitate filling out of tax declarations, contribute to the transparency and swift payment of taxes, while preventing tax evasion and corruption.
The Chinese party shared the advantages of the unified Golden Tax information platform introduced by Huawei and CEIEC for the Chinese tax system and made a presentation of the system. Through two large and 36 regional data processing centers, quality electronic services are provided to 35 million legal persons and 500 million individuals in China.
Also, an analysis of the Uzbekistan’s tax system’s existing software was conducted and specific proposals and recommendations were given for the introduction of a modern unified information platform.
