The national airline Uzbekistan Airways carried over 2.5 million passengers in eight months of this year, the company said.
During this period, 17,436 flights were operated, with average of 310-320 thousand people and 1950 to 2180 flights performed each month.
For example, on October 9 Uzbekistan Airways flew to 54 overseas destinations and carried 8270 passengers.
