Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov will head the country's delegation to the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 21–29, the ministry said.
The Minister Kamilov will address the General Assembly, dedicated to the presentation of the Global Appeal for the Protection of Religious Freedom and the UN Summit on Climate Action.
In addition, Abdulaziz Kamilov will attend the C5+ 1 ministerial meetings between the foreign minmistries of the Central Asia and the USA, as well and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), as well as hold a number of bilateral meetings with foreign ministers.
The delegation’s visit’s program includes the with US officials in Washington to discuss issues on the Uzbek-American agenda, the Foreign Ministry’s press service noted.
