Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today hosted the visiting Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale, the Foreign Ministry said.
The parties exchanged views on bilateral ties, interaction within the framework of multilateral bodies and commended the positive trend of the Uzbek-American multifaceted relations.
The Minister Kamilov emphasized that Uzbekistan is interested in the U.S. investments, technology and advanced experience for the country’s economic and technological modernization.
The parties reiterated their strong commitment to strengthening and expanding mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and the United States in all areas of mutual interest.
Under Secretary David Hale praised the progress of comprehensive reforms in Uzbekistan and confirmed the readiness of the United States to assist in the implementation of joint projects, including in the education field.
