The heads of government of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will hold a meeting on October 31-November 1 in Tashkent, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov said on Tuesday.
“The Council of National Coordinators is the most important link in the mechanism of the SCO cooperation, which ensures the implementation of decisions taken at the highest levels. At this stage, the Council’s main task is to provide meaningful content for the meeting of the heads of government of the SCO member states on October 31 – November 1 in Tashkent, as well as to start preparations for the SOC Summit in July in St. Petersburg,” he said. “I’m sure that you can handle it with dignity.”
Morgulov added that before the year-end, it is also planned to hold consultations on international issues of the SCO at the level of deputy foreign ministers.
