The ceiling rates for socially important locally produced medicines and medical products have been set in Uzbekistan. The list of such medicines is published on the website of the Committee on Privatization, De-monopolization and Competition Development.
Pursuant to the Oct 31 Presidential Decree, the cap prices shall be set by the Monitoring Commission which is responsible for provision of medical facilities and population with drugs and medical supplies. The list includes a total of 116 kinds of local and 227 imported products.
The fixed prices for imported socially important drugs and medical products will be made public in the near future.
