Foreign managers will be hired in the companies of Uzbekistan’s oil, gas and energy sectors, Uzbek Finance Minister Jamshid Kuchkarov said.
“For those three newly created companies of Uzbekenergo (after the restructuring of Uzbekenergo), , we are going to hire foreign managers. The same will be done in the oil and gas sector companies,” he said, noting that a competition for managerial vacancies will be announced soon.
Earlier this year Uzbekenergo was split into three separate bodies in terms of production, transportation, distribution and sale of electrical energy, with recently Uzbekneftegaz also undergoing transformations .
