The government issued decree establishing the Westminster International School (WIS) in the city of Tashkent, the Ministry of Justice said.
The WIS will reportedly select gifted children, organize in-depth study of humanitarian, natural and exact sciences, foreign languages and ITs and provide necessary conditions to promote creative thinking.
The classes will be taught in English language based on the curricula and programs developed jointly with foreign educational institutions.
The graduates of the school, along with the national secondary education certificate, will obtain internationally recognized International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement or International Advanced Levels certificates, which are eligible for foreign higher educational institutions.
The admission rules and the tuition fees shall be determined by agreement with foreign partners.
