President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid visited Bukhara on a private visit, UzA said. At the Bukhara airport, he was welcomed by the Uzbek Deputy PM Aziz Abdukhakimov and the governor of the Bukhara province, Uktam Barnoev.
The delegation of Bangladesh visited the Bahouddin Naqshbandi memorial complex, the Ark fortress, the Poi-Kalon complex and the Labi Hovuz architectural ensemble.
Earlier, on June 15, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the President of Bangladesh in his residence at the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia in Dushanbe. President Abdul Hamid expressed his gratitude for the organization of his visit to Uzbekistan to visit cultural and historical centers after the summit in the capital of Tajikistan.
