Tashkent province bound Mercedes-Benz coach from Bukhara, toppled and took fire after tyre burst today at 2:00 AM in the Urtachirchik district of the Tashkent province, the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
The coach was carrying 53 people in the cabin, including 3 drivers, including 37 pupils of the school No 31 in Tashkent province’s Parkent district, as well as 3 teachers and 10 parents.
All passengers were reportedly evacuated, with the injured provided with medical assistance on the spot. Seven people sustained injuries of varying severity, two of them were taken in the Urtachirchik district hospital and five were hospitalized to the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Aid.
