In Uzbekistan, there are many scientists with high potential and who have received international recognition. They have to create their own schools. We must fundamentaly improve the first stage of training the highly qualified scientists - the schools. It is important to ensure the continuity of the process of preparation of the scientific staff and highly qualified specialists. "We will spare nothing for this purpose", - the head of state emphasized.
The scientists stressed that the proposals made by Shavkat Mirziyoev during the election campaign, including the creation of modern industrial parks, the Innovation Center with a free economic area status would enhance the competitiveness of research institutions, educational institutions and industrial enterprises, as well as attract domestic and foreign investors.
The President noted that science occupies a very important place in the development of all sectors of the economy, and in this case, the State relies primarily on the Academy of Sciences. Integration of science and industry today is very relevant as never before, he underscored.
