The Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Dilshod Akhatov hosted the visiting Swiss Special Water Envoy Guy Bonvin, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The parties reportedly exchanged views key aspects of Uzbek-Swiss relations, including within the framework of international structures and discussed the priorities of cooperation in such areas as integrated water resources management, water supply to the rural population, where Switzerland has considerable experience.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in the further advancing mutually beneficial multisector relations, including the implementation of the Swiss Cooperation Strategy for Central Asia for 2017-2020.
