Committee on Judicial and Legal Issues and Countering Corruption has been created The Legislative Chamber, the Chamber said in a statement.
“This committee is entasked to exercise oversight over the formation and implementation of anti-corruption programs in government bodies, prepare proposals for improving anti-corruption legislation, as well as analyzing existing legislation in order to identify provisions and norms, facilitating corruption, ”- the statement noted.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his address at a meeting on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Uzbek Constitution, pointed to the need to create anti-corruption committees within the two chambers.
