The Uzbekistan airports will be closed for Boeing 737-8 MAX and Boeing 737-9 MAX aircrafts for a period of one month to take effect as of 5:00 PM March 13, a source in the Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport (formerly State Aviation Supervision Authority) said.
According to the source the ban shall not apply to flights of this type of aircrafts over the territory of Uzbekistan.
After the crash of Boeing 737−8 MAX in Ethiopia on Sunday, many countries grounded these aircrafts.
