Behzod Musaev has been confirmed as chairman of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan, a source in the government told Tashkent Times. He had been serving as interim chief of the committee.
Behzod Musaev replaced Botir Parpiev in this post, who had worked as the head of the committee since 2004.
Musaev was appointed interim Chairman of the Tax Committee in May of this year. Since March, he worked as the first deputy chairman of the Committee.
Behzod Musaev between 2010–2011 served as the first deputy chairman of the committee, prior to being appointed chairman of the Accounts Chamber.
