President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Karakalpakstan on Thursday morning, the presidential press service said. "Shavkat Mirziyoyev regularly visits the provinces to see how the people are living, to talk to them, and to what they have to say, familiarize himself with the socio-economic development of the provinces, solve pressing issues and identify tasks for the future," the press service said.
“The next series of presidential trips across the country begins. And the first destination this time, as in the previous is Karakalpakstan,” the statement added.
