A commission including Pakistan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan could be established to support economic and infrastructure projects in the region, the special representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev announced Thursday at the conference in Brussels.

Irgashev noted that the Uzbek delegation spoke about new projects in Afghanistan with the new Pakistani leadership.

"The Prime Minister of Pakistan supported the idea of creating a Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan commission on trade, economic and infrastructure projects," he said.

Its creation will help improve relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan, promote those projects that will create thousands of jobs and show ordinary Afghans that any peace is better than war, Irgashev explained.
