Naqshbandiyah Tourism Festival, co-organized by the Malaysian World Sufi Center and the Uzbekistan Embassy to Malaysia, will be held in Uzbekistan on November 7-12.
The first ever Naqshbandiyah festival aims to pay tribute to the contribution of the Uzbek religious scholars to Islam and world civilization, and will feature visits to holy sites, religious ceremonies and etc.
More than 150 followers of the Naqshbandiyah Sufi Order are expected to attend, including more than 10 prominent ulamas from around the world, in particular from Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, China, India, Australia, the United States, South Africa and other countries.
