The Tourism Development Committee announced it has developed tourist signs directing visitors to tourist destinations. Brown signs with white lettering and white pictograms will be used on tourist routes. In the state and English languages they will point to important tourist destinations or places of interest (city, street, museum, mosque, stadium, station, airport, etc.) in a specific area.
In its statement, the Committee recognizes the low degree of integration of the Uzbekistan’s cultural and historical heritage into the tourism industry and the lack of directing signs at many sites.
