PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has been awarded the contract for development of project documentation and provision of consulting services as part of the Safe City project.
According to the Center for Information Security and Assistance in Ensuring Public Order of the ITs Development Ministry, bidders from Germany, Israel, Russia and China submitted their proposald.
Safe City project provides for the integration of information systems of police departments, government agencies and other organizations, CCTV systems, recording of offenses, protection of facilities, early response and prevention of possible threats, sensors, intelligent analytics, dispatch control centers and processing data centers.
According to the program approved last summer, the Safe City project should by 2023 cover the whole of Uzbekistan.
