According to the October 4 presidential decree, information technologies will be introduced in the Uzbekistan elections, the Foreign Ministry said.
The authorities intend to create voter database which will include amon others their permanent and temporary residence addresses.
The proposal was prepared by the Central Election Commission, the ministries for ITs Development, Internal Affairs and the Committee for Land Resources.
The department must collect all necessary information by April 1, 2019.
