Cavalry Parade will take place near Tashkent’s Amir Temur square on October 1 at 4 PM. The event will feature over 100 horses of English, German, Novokyrgyz, Karabair and Frisian breeds, the Equestrian Sports Federation said.
Equestrian athletes and officers of the Border Guard Troops of the State Security Service, the Main Patrol and Public Order Office under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Cavalry Honor Guard of the National Guard will march on horseback in the parade uniform.
The first cavalry parade in Uzbekistan’s history took place on July 8, with about 80 horses of different breeds passing along the Tashkent streets.
