Samarkand will host the 5th meeting of the India-Central Asia dialogue on September 13-14, 2018, co-rganized by the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations in conjunction with the Indian Council for International Affairs, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The India delegation consisting of experts of India’s renowned think tanks will be led by the minister of state for foreign affairs Mobashar Jawed Akbar. The event will be attended by lead scientists and experts from the Central Asian experts.

The event will include panel sessions on the current trends of regional cooperation in Central Asia, joint struggle against threats and challenges, and the development of proposals and recommendations on enhancing the dialogue of the Central Asian countries with India in the fields of politics, economy, security and culture.
