The Uzbek Prosecutor General's Office reported about the degree of injuries of the drivers and passengers of the accident involving a government car in Bekabad district of Tashkent province.

According to the statement, on August 20, at about 9:30 AM on the 92nd km of Karasu-Buka-Bekabad highway, Bakhtiyor Sayidov on Damas minivan driving from the village Zafar towards the city of Bekabad lost control and hit the left lateral central part of the service car Mercedes-Benz (215 ABA) conveying the members of the government.

As a result of the roadaccident, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, who was in the Mercedes-Benz car sustained minor injuries that did not require medical assistance, Deputy Prime Minister/Uzbekneftegaz chairman Alisher Sultanov got a fracture of the left hip bone, a closed fracture of the bone of cup-shaped denture, closed fracture of the 7-10th ribs of the thorax and bruise of the upper part of the head, the officer of the President's office U. Kurbonov suffered a closed fracture of the right forearm bone and the driver Rustam Tolipov - a bruise of the upper part of the head and light bruises in the area of open joints of the right shoulder and right forearm.

The driver of Damas sustained bruises in the forehead area and the passenger A. Meliboev - a fracture of the right collarbone.

The Prosecutor General's Office conducts pre-investigation checks on the fact of an accident.
