Dilmurod Nabiyev has been appointed as new Minister of Sports replacing Shoakrom Isroilov, who was moved to another role last week, a source in the government told The Tashkent Times.
Prior to his appointment since June 2017, Dilmurod Nabiev served as first deputy minister of higher and secondary special education.
In 2014-2016 he worked as deputy state adviser to the President on science, education, health and sports.
From 2016 to 2017 he worked as the head of the information and analytical department on education, science and youth policy of the Cabinet of Ministers.
