The Prosecutor General's Office announced that the ex-chief of the Investigation Department of the National Security Service (now - the State Security Service) Oleg Vladimirovich Busygin now wanted for extortion of particularly large sums of money, the Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement.
Currently, the Office for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption under the Prosecutor General's Office is conducting preliminary investigation into this case.
In 2008 Oleg Busygin was awarded Jasorat (transl. Bravery – Ed.) medal for dedicated services in protecting the national interests, ensuring peace, stability and public order.
