Procedure for Ensuring Safety in Courts, Trials and Their Participants has been amended Saturday and now attorneys for defense are allowed to bring computers, mobile and other communication devices into courts save for closed court proceedings, Norma.uz reported.
The use of communication devices should not interrupt the order in court sessions. Sound recording, photo and video shooting is allowed only with the permission of chief judge.
In addition, the broadcast of court sessions shall be “held as provided for by law" whereas earlier this was up to the chief judge.
