On December 7, at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry was held a meeting with the Georgian Foreign Ministry delegation, headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister, David Jalagania.

As part of the ministerial political consultations, the parties discussed topical aspects of the Uzbek-Georgian relations in the political, economic, trade, transport and communication, cultural, humanitarian and other areas, as well as cooperation in the framework of international organizations, a statement of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

As it was underscored at the meeting, both countries attach great importance to regular dialogue at various levels and formats and are interested in boosting the mutually beneficial relations between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Georgia.

The parties also reviewed the state of the legal framework for cooperation and proposals for its extension.
