The Uzbek MMA fighter Murod “The Asian Bear” Khanturaev and several other people were arrested in Tashkent’s Yunusabad district Thursday, the Multimedia Information Center of the Tashkent Police Department said in a statement.
Khanturayev and a number of other people were detained on the night of June 20 to 21 in Yunusabad province for deliberate disregard for the rules of social behavior, the statement said.
"Now, the detainee M. Khanturaev is charged under the Article 277 ("Criminal damage") of the Uzbek Criminal Code, with the investigation ongoing," the statement concluded.
