China’a President Xi Jinping congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his victory in the Uzbekistan presidential election, the Chinese Foreign Ministry's press service said on Monday.
Xi Jinping in his congratulatory message underscored that China and Uzbekistan are good neighbors, good friends and reliable partners, and that there is genuine mutual trust between the countries.
"Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, the two countries have adhered to the policy of advancing, strengthening of political trust, mutually beneficial cooperation and have been jointly promoting strategic cooperation", - the message concluded.
