On December 1, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the CIS, Sergey Lebedev arrived in Tashkent, a statement of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan said.
Sergei Lebedev is the head of the CIS observation mission for the presidential election in Uzbekistan on December 4.
The CIS Observer mission launched its work in Uzbekistan on November 17. The mission includes 10 long and 60 short-term observers.
The long-term observers have already visited more than 100 polling stations and are currently observing the ongoing early voting process.
