President Shavkat Mirziyoyev today arrived in the Djizak province, the presidential press service reported. First of all, he got acquainted with the activities of the Zarbdor textile in the Zarbdor district, whose construction he instructed during last year's trip to the province and which now employs over 1,060 people will.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a recent trip to the Samarkand province pointed to the need to build at least two textile enterprises in each district.
My ultimate goal is to provide people with jobs, a source of income, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said. From now on, we will export less cotton, instead we will process it in our country and manufacture products with added value.
The presentation of projects on the development of the textile, chemical and pharmaceutical industries in the Jizzakh province, as well as attracting investments was held here.
Afterwards Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Zaragalik mahalla in the Jizzakh city. Where he met with the locals, and said: I visit the provinces on a regular basis so that other executives also visit and learn to be among people, see the way they live, serve to them, he said. We, as it was in other provinces, have come to Jizzakh with big plans for the development of the province, improve livelihoods of the people.
He pointed to the need to tap the huge potential in all areas, boost the agriculture, which will be facilitated by the construction of a reservoir in the Farish district, specialization of rainfed lands for viticulture, proceed with villages development program and expansion of the use of homestead lands.
As you can see, we are reforming many spheres, taking decisions to improve people’s lives, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. But people should work hard as well, effectively use the opportunities created by the state.
