Uzbekistan delegation attended the first meeting of foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group+Central Asia in Budapest yesterday, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
At the V4 + Central Asia ministerial forum, initiated by the Hungarian chairmanship in the Visegrad Group, was attended be the delegations of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistanm who discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in various fields both in bilateral and interregional format.
As noted in the delegation's statement, Uzbekistan stands for building mutually beneficial and fruitful ties with the states of the Visegrad Group, taking into account the economic, intellectual and scientific and technical capabilities of the countries.
At the forum, the parties supported the new format of interregional interaction.
On the same day, the heads of delegations who attended the meeting were hosted by the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
