Uzbekistan intends to engage Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to prepare its innovative development strategy. BSB is expected to help prepare Uzbekistan’s Innovative Development Strategy, which should offer new approaches for the development of territories and industries in the ever changing world.
"We have already agreed on a common terms of reference with the BCG, with the strategy to be ready in April, which will include the innovative development vectors for the industries such as, building industry, energy and transport infrastructure, as well as the development of each region focusing on priority industries, " the Innovations ministry said.
BCG will also analyze the current state of affairs and Uzbekistan’s development level.
"It is very important to understand, for example, what are the real figures in terms of use of electricity by the economy and households today, with the robust development of the industry, the demand for electricity will rise manifolds, so we have to plan based on future demand, and also for each industry,” - the ministry added.

The firm advises clients in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors around the world, and is considered one of the most prestigious management consulting firms in a branche-internal survey.
