Moscow is preparing to match last year’s record for the Meet Global MICE Congress, which drew more than 2,500 professionals from 37 countries in 2025. On 16–17 December 2026, MGMC will return to the Congress Centre of the World Trade Center Moscow for its fourth edition, bringing together key players in the international MICE industry for high-level dialogue: event organisers, MICE service providers, corporate clients, representatives of national tourism authorities, industry associations and leading experts from BRICS and Global South countries.
For delegates from Uzbekistan, MGMC 2026 offers an effective channel for finding new partners in emerging international markets, building business contacts, strengthening their businesses and showcasing their own MICE potential. In 2025, the more than 130 exhibitors representing leading MICE destinations included the Uzbek companies Sanat Travel Experts DMC, Inter MICE Asia and Silk Road Samarkand. Their exhibits highlighted the country’s modern MICE infrastructure, its transport connectivity and its high standard of service. This year, the congress will once again host a large-scale exhibition area where Uzbek MICE operators, hotel brands, industry associations, transport companies and the wider professional community can present what they have to offer.
A highlight of the congress schedule is the Hosted Buyers programme, which this year will bring together more than 200 professional buyers from the CIS, China, India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. Taking part in Hosted Buyers will allow participants from Uzbekistan to connect with leading MICE suppliers and gauge Moscow’s potential as one of the world’s leading MICE destinations. With around 70% of attendees being senior executives and decision-makers, this meeting format holds strong potential for signing contracts and closing deals quickly. In total, more than 8,000 B2B meetings took place at MGMC last year.

MGMC 2026 will feature a practice-oriented business programme centred on real-world case studies and interactive formats. At its core is a hands-on toolkit for MICE professionals, covering everything from strategy development to applied solutions that turn ideas into tangible financial results. Delegates will discuss entering new markets, attracting investment, business support measures and digital transformation, including the adoption of artificial intelligence. Dedicated sessions will explore building strong destination brands rooted in each region’s cultural identity, as well as the specifics of doing business in BRICS and Global South markets. The economics track will cover profitability management, preventing cash-flow gaps and finding unconventional revenue streams. Particular emphasis will be placed on the evolution of the business model: the shift from selling billable hours to delivering measurable value to clients. Market leaders who have sustained rapid growth and successfully scaled their businesses will share their experience.
Each year, MGMC raises its standing as a professional platform for discussing trends and building partnerships, setting a new benchmark for industry events in the international MICE sector.

“For professionals from Uzbekistan, MGMC is an opportunity to broaden the geography of their business connections, showcase their expertise, see how the global MICE industry is evolving and get to know Moscow as a modern MICE destination. For us, the participation of our colleagues from Uzbekistan is a chance not only to share Moscow’s experience but also to learn from best practices, explore new areas of cooperation together and advance our professional dialogue,” says Anastasia Popova, First Deputy General Director for Business Tourism Development at the Moscow Tourism and Hospitality Development Project Office (Mostourism).
