November 15-18, Tashkent hosted the meeting of working groups of the government delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan on delimitation and demarcation of the state boundary, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry press service said.
"The parties discussed the practical issues of finalization of the Uzbek-Tajik State boundary and exchanged opinions on previously un- finalized sections", - the statement added.
Earlier, on November 14, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting with Ambassador of Tajikistan, Sodik Imomi. The parties discussed the revitalization of the negotiation process on delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Tajik state boundary and speed up its finalization.
