Public Healthcare Committee has been created within the Legislative Chamber, bringing the total to 12, Xalq So’zi (transl. People’s Word) newspaper said.
At the Chamber’s January 4 meeting was approved the composition of the new committee. The committee will perform parliamentary and public control over the implementation of legislation on the ground.
Inoyat Khadjiev, member of Milliy Tiklanish Party, has been elected as the chairman of the committee.
The committee was reportedly created pursuant to the tasks set out in the President address to the Parliament. The head of state harshly criticized the quality of public healthcare services. The Legislative Chamber has been recommended to focus more on solving problems in this area.
