Russian tourists have begun booking flights to Uzbekistan in large numbers this fall, the travel service Tutu said. Uzbekistan has emerged as the clear leader in flight bookings this autumn, posting a 5.2-percentage-point increase in booking share — the largest gain of any destination. Turkey ranked second, followed by Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. At the same time, booking shares for flights to Belarus and Kazakhstan declined.
In terms of hotel payments, China saw the largest increase this fall, up 4.2 percentage points, while Uzbekistan came in second with a 3.2-percentage-point rise. Despite this growth, Belarus, Abkhazia and Turkey remained the top destinations for hotel bookings overall, continuing the pattern seen in 2025.
