According to official data, 228,615 foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for commercial purposes during the first six months of this year.
Afghanistan topped the list by a wide margin, with 205,937 of its citizens visiting Uzbekistan for business. Turkmenistan followed in second place with 16,322 visitors, while Tajikistan ranked third with 4,320.
During the same reporting period, business arrivals also included 628 citizens from the Kyrgyz Republic, 311 from Kazakhstan, 230 from Russia, and 188 from Turkey. Commercial visitors from all other nations combined totaled 679.
Data from the National Statistics Committee highlights that Afghan citizens maintained an absolute dominance among foreigners arriving in Uzbekistan to establish business and trade relations during this period.
