Uzhydromet has announced that an influx of intense heat from the south will continue to sweep across Uzbekistan between July 18 and 20.
Temperatures are reportedly expected to climb to +43…+45 degrees Celsius, with some southern areas and desert zones bracing for extreme highs of up to +46…+48 degrees.
Wind speeds across the country are forecast to increase to 13–18 m/s, with localized gusts reaching 20–22 m/s, triggering dust storms in some areas.
