A young girl who accidentally fell into an outdoor pit latrine in the Yunusobod district of Tashkent has been successfully rescued. The news was shared by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to officials, on June 25 at 5:33 p.m., the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department received an urgent call. A 5-year-old girl (born in 2021) had been left unsupervised and accidentally fell into an outdoor toilet pit at a residential property on Obiravon Street in the Yunusobod district.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately. Utilizing specialized equipment designed for deep-space and hazardous extractions, one of the rescuers descended into the pit and pulled the young girl to safety.
Medical personnel on-site provided immediate first aid to the child before reuniting her with her family. Officials report that the girl is currently in stable condition and doing well.
