A passenger car driven by an unlicensed teenager was involved in a traffic accident in Tashkent. Although no injuries were reported, authorities are stressing that underage driving poses a severe threat to public safety.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Monday. Two teenagers, who had just finished the 9th grade, took the car out on the road without any adult supervision.

While driving, the teenage motorist lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a parked Yutong bus on the side of the road. There were no passengers inside the bus at the time.

According to preliminary reports, the car was taken joyriding without the family's permission. Following the collision, law enforcement agencies conducted an investigation at the scene and officially documented the incident.

Officials emphasize that underage driving places not only the minors themselves but also the lives and health of other road users at grave risk.

Consequently, parents are strongly urged to tighten supervision over their children, ensure car keys are kept out of reach, and regularly educate minors on strict adherence to traffic safety regulations.
