President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has extended his congratulations to 472,000 young men and women graduating from school and stepping out into the wider world.
"In you—our children, who are building your plans for the future today—we see the creative force that will bring global acclaim to the New Uzbekistan," he remarked.
"We are mobilizing all our resources and opportunities to ensure that every single school graduate finds a worthy and fulfilling place in life," the head of state declared.
"Today's graduate is tomorrow's engineer, doctor, scientist, poet, writer, or entrepreneur. Today's graduate is the architect of the Third Renaissance. You are the greatest hope and bedrock of the New Uzbekistan," the congratulatory message read.
The president noted that this year marks a milestone, with more than 11,000 graduates finishing school with gold and silver medals for the first time.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that in today's world, "the labor market values actual knowledge, qualifications, and the ability to deliver results far above a mere piece of paper." He went on to note, "You can see how rapidly life itself and the demands of the job market are shifting. Brand-new professions are constantly emerging. Speaking foreign languages, mastering a sought-after trade, computer literacy, and the skills to earn an independent income have become absolutely vital necessities."
He announced that this year, banks will allocate a total of 25 trillion soums in low-interest loans to young people aspiring to become entrepreneurs. Additionally, $100 million is being set aside specifically for graduates launching startup projects. Major IT corporations have also committed to training at least 50,000 graduates annually in Artificial Intelligence, guaranteeing them placement in high-income positions. Furthermore, 168,000 hectares of super-intensive commercial orchards will be developed in the coming years.
"In our fast-paced and rapidly changing era, your most critical task is to be prepared for life and its escalating demands," Shavkat Mirziyoyev continued. "On this journey, books will be your closest friends and greatest allies. After all, a book is a source of light, knowledge, and wisdom. A well-read person possesses strong resolve, a broad worldview, and will never stray from the right path."
The president went on to highlight the recent triumphs of young athletes and achievers across various sectors, expressing his absolute confidence that this year's graduating class contains "future national heroes who will become the pride of New Uzbekistan."
"Today you graduate from school, but the school of life is only just beginning," Shavkat Mirziyoyev concluded. "I wish you the incomparable happiness of finding your true path. Set bold, ambitious goals for yourselves! Believe in your potential and step forward with confidence! Be the generation that embodies the spirit of progressive change! May your very first steps on this journey be blessed and fruitful. I wish you all the success in the world—be happy, my dear children!"
