On Saturday, Uzbekistan Airways unveiled a Boeing 787 Dreamliner (UK78706) featuring a special livery dedicated to the Uzbekistan MNT (men's national team), which is set to make its historic debut at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This marks the very first time the airline has customized an aircraft with a special promotional paint scheme.

The presentation took place in one of the hangars at the Uzbekistan Airways Technics aircraft maintenance facility. The event kicked off with a collaborative performance by rapper Shahriyor and opera singer Zhenisbek Piyazov, who performed a song that had debuted just the day before during the national team’s official World Cup send-off ceremony.

Umid Khusanov, First Deputy Chairman for Operations at the airline, described the occasion as truly special and congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on this historic milestone.

The front portion of the fuselage displays the word "Go" right alongside the "Uzbekistan" branding, creating the rallying cry "Go Uzbekistan." It also features the white wolf—the official mascot of the national team. The mascot wears a jersey emblazoned with the number 12, symbolizing the "twelfth man" and honoring every single football fan in the country.

The rear section of the fuselage features the phrase "Olg'a O'zbekiston" ("Forward, Uzbekistan!" or "Go, Uzbekistan") written in Uzbek. The engine nacelles are also adorned with the image of the wolf, alongside the inscriptions "UZB2026" and "Oq bo'rilar" ("White Wolves").

Company representatives said that the specially liveried Dreamliner is scheduled to depart Tashkent for New York early Sunday morning. The aircraft will operate routes not only to the United States but also to various other international destinations, showcasing the Uzbek national football team's symbols to audiences around the world.

The aircraft will sport this celebratory paint scheme for several months until its next scheduled heavy maintenance check.

To further commemorate Uzbekistan’s participation in the World Cup, Uzbekistan Airways has also introduced a special line of in-flight service items featuring the slogan "Go Uzbekistan." This includes branded headrest covers across all flights, exclusive amenity kits for passengers on the New York route, and custom-designed pins for the flight attendants.
